Transcending Struggle: Living through COVID-19 as an Unemployed Immigrant

I lost my job a couple of days after my birthday. It was a possibility that I knew could happen. Everybody at work did. This expectation softened the blow when reality finally struck.

What left a mark, however, was how quickly our plans B and C would fail.
